SKIN REJUVENATION

Microneedling with SkinPen®

Collagen Renewal for Smoother, More Refined Skin

SKIN RENEWAL

Your skin already knows how to repair itself.

Microneedling works by creating precise, controlled microchannels in the skin, activating the natural healing response responsible for collagen and elastin production.

With SkinPen®, treatment can be customized to address concerns such as uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, and acne scarring. As the skin moves through its repair process, new collagen gradually forms and remodels beneath the surface.

Treatment can also be paired with regenerative enhancements such as PRP or PRF and exosomes, allowing the treatment plan to be tailored to your skin, concerns, and rejuvenation goals.

THE SCIENCE OF SKIN RENEWAL

Controlled stimulation. Gradual renewal.

Precise Microchannels

Icons(11).png

SkinPen® creates controlled microchannels at customized depths, initiating the skin’s natural wound-healing response while leaving the surrounding tissue intact.

Repair & Renewal

Icons(13).png

The skin responds to these microchannels by activating a natural repair process that supports new collagen and elastin production.

Collagen Remodeling

Over the following weeks and months, newly formed collagen continues to remodel, gradually improving the appearance of texture, fine lines, and acne scars.

WHO IT’S FOR

For skin that could use a stronger renewal signal.

Microneedling may be appropriate for adults looking to improve visible changes in skin texture and support gradual collagen renewal without adding volume or changing facial structure.

.

WHAT IT IMPROVES

Texture changes. Collagen responds.

Early Fine Lines

Icons(6)_edited.png

Microneedling supports dermal collagen production, which may soften the appearance of early lines.

Dull Complexion

Icons(7)_edited.png

Increased cellular turnover may contribute to a brighter, healthier-appearing complexion.

Uneven Skin Texture

Icons(2).png

Collagen stimulation can help refine irregular texture and improve overall skin smoothness.

Early Collagen Loss

Icons(1)_edited_edited_edited.png

Stimulates the skin’s natural repair response to support new collagen and elastin as firmness and resilience begin to decline.

Acne Scarring

YOUR APPOINTMENT

What to Know

A little preparation supports a smoother recovery.

Microneedling creates a controlled healing response, so temporary redness, warmth, tightness, dryness, or sensitivity can be expected as the skin recovers. Most patients can return to normal daily activities relatively quickly, although visible recovery varies.

Before Treatment

+

✧ Skin Check | Let your provider know about active breakouts, cold sores, irritation, infection, open wounds, or recent sunburn in the treatment area.

✧ Treatment History | Tell your provider about recent laser treatments, chemical peels, injectables, prescription skin medications, or other procedures.

✧ Skin Care | Your provider may recommend temporarily pausing retinoids, exfoliating acids, or other potentially irritating products before treatment.

✧ Treatment Options | Microneedling may be performed on its own or paired with PRP/PRF or selected topical regenerative enhancements. Your provider can discuss which approach is appropriate based on your skin and treatment goals.

After Treatment

+

✧ First 24 Hours | Redness, warmth, tightness, and mild sensitivity are common. Follow the post-treatment skin-care instructions provided to you.

✧ Keep It Gentle | Avoid exfoliating acids, retinoids, scrubs, and other potentially irritating products until the skin has recovered.

✧ Sun Protection | Minimize direct sun exposure and use appropriate sun protection as instructed once it can be comfortably applied.

✧ Heat & Exercise | Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, saunas, and steam rooms during the initial recovery period as directed by your provider.

Timing Your Treatment

+

Microneedling should be planned with enough time for visible redness, dryness, or mild flaking to settle before photographs, travel, weddings, or other important events.

Recovery varies with treatment depth, treatment area, individual skin response, and whether an enhancement is incorporated.

Results & Recovery

+

✧ First 1–3 Days | Redness, warmth, tightness, and sensitivity are most noticeable as the initial healing response begins.

✧ Days 3–7 | Visible redness generally continues to settle. Mild dryness, roughness, or flaking may occur as the skin recovers.

✧ Following Weeks | Skin texture may begin to appear smoother as the repair process progresses.

✧ Following Months | Collagen remodeling continues gradually, with improvement developing over time. A series of treatments may be recommended depending on the concern being addressed.

UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE

Standard Microneedling or PRP Microneedling?

Both treatments use SkinPen® microneedling to stimulate the skin’s natural repair response and collagen remodeling. PRP Microneedling adds platelet-rich plasma derived from your own blood as an additional regenerative component.

SkinPen® Microneedling

Uses controlled microchannels to stimulate collagen renewal and gradually improve skin texture.

PRP

Microneedling

Combines SkinPen® microneedling with platelet-rich plasma to add a regenerative component to the treatment.

OPTIONAL REGENERATIVE ENHANCEMENTS

Selected topical post-treatment enhancements may also be incorporated into your treatment plan, including exosome-based skincare, PDRN / Rejuran® c-PDRN®, and professional growth-factor or peptide formulations, depending on the products offered and your individual skin goals.

Chemical Peels

Once the skin has fully recovered, chemical peels can help maintain improvements in tone and surface texture while complementing collagen-stimulating treatments.

Repair With Intention

Microneedling works by creating a controlled stimulus, but the quality of the result depends on how that treatment is planned.

At MajorGlow, treatment depth, coverage, and the decision to incorporate PRP, PRF, or a topical enhancement are considered according to your skin condition, treatment area, and goals.

The aim is not to create as much inflammation as possible. It is to create the right amount of stimulation for your skin to respond, repair, and gradually rebuild.

Controlled treatment. Progressive renewal.
